Course of the semester
During classes, children learn through play how to perform exercises safely, improve their motor coordination, and integrate through joint games and activities. The program is tailored to the individual needs of each child, taking into account their level of functioning and sensory preferences. Children learn the basics on trampolines and acrobatic tracks, which allows them to gradually be introduced to more difficult activities, supporting both motor and social development.
Classes are held once a week.
-
Classes begin with a warm-up that includes static and dynamic exercises tailored to the needs of children on the autism spectrum. The warm-up places a strong emphasis on exercises that promote body awareness (proprioception).
-
Next, training takes place on trampolines, a board, and an acrobatic track, and includes learning basic elements on trampolines, coordination and sensory exercises, and group games. The difficulty of the exercises is adapted to the skills and physical fitness of the participants.
Each class ends with a short relaxation session to help children calm down after intense activities.
